Just one more slightly stupid question: How do you make your borders? Is it a tool on photoshop? Because I spend a shameful amount of time actually making it in Paint, lol, and it's such a pain.
The lighting didn't quite look like that when I was there. I set the exposure compensation to about -1.7 I think to get a faster shutter speed and an overall darker image. I think I increased saturation and contrast very slightly when I edited this, though.
And there are no stupid questions! I use Corel Paint Shop Pro X to edit my photos. It's $100 to buy the newest version and does everything I want it to. Basically, all I do is go to the image menu and select add borders. It allows you to select the color and width and everything. I usually start by adding a 1 pixel border of black or white, then 49 pixels of the opposite color. It's really easy, only a couple of steps.
There is free software out there that will help you out as well, I don't know what works well though.
